Here in Vancouver Kwantlen University offers a Bachelor of Design specifically focused on the development of outdoor recreational gear and technical goods. Emily Carr University also offers a soft goods/outdoor products specialization in its design degree. Like Utah - Vancouver is home to many outdoor companies (Arctery'x, Lululemon, Mountain Co-Op, Mustang Survival etc) hence the opportunity to specialize in the outdoor industry. Both Emily Carr and Kwantlen's programs have been around for a number of years."
