"I think you hit the nail on the head when you say that the article could have been written more objectively.  But the fact is, it wasn't. At all. What could have been an interesting read and discussion was instead injected with the venom of political opinion and snark.As to people vying for positions of power needing to be called out on what they say - I agree.  But two points I need to make are:1 - Is this the appropriate venue to do that?2 - If so, then what about the endless list of stupidity uttered by any number of other candidates and politicians? "Excellent post!  Good to see some exposure to the little known and rarely celebrated offshoots of ID that some of us live and breathe.  POGs are truly mind-numbing and soul-crushing tasks, but there are a select few out there who love it and are hardwired in just the right way to dive into this field and make a solid career out of it.I can only say that while Ive had my run-ins with working on POGs, I am so ever thankful that it is not a regular occurrence for me!"
