"That is not the correct way at all and a bad example of teaching younger or inexperienced designers how to create threads on a bottle or closure.  There are specific SPI thread design guidelines that you can find on-line.  Refer to Joshua's links.FYI -  The resulting threads on your prototype bottles are female which is completely wrong and very non-industry specific.  Core 77 - you should really take this post down."
