"This is fairly standard across many swimming centres in Germany. Not as extravagant, however the town I lived in for a year had one similar, and also had a timer to see who could get the fastest times down the tube whilst experiencing strobe lights, smoke machines and different colours sections."
""For me, the video serves as an almost disturbing reminder of just how much stuff we consume in the mere act of living. "+1 for that commentThat is a product straight from the depths of marketing/consumerism hell. Why you would choose to bring even more marketing than the packaging of the products themselves into your home/sanctuary beats me. Why not get an A0 sized poster of Tide on your bedroom roof so it can sooth you to sleep each night. Seriously, though the designers behind this should question themselves. Why is the logo required, it makes what could be an interchangeable unit redundant, if it is stuck to your beautifully designed coffee machine destroying the aesthetics of it aside from that you would know what that button is going to order... more coffee. the fact you still need to get on the smartphone makes it poorly thought through.. I'll stick to just using the one laptop and ordering things that way and not having advertising buttons in my home that will just add to landfill eventually.. this was definitely a bread & butter client design, sometimes people should just say no.I mean you can already set this up by yourself with QR codes or a multitude of other methods."
