  • "Thank you Rain. This is a really interesting and informative read. I'm fascinated with these chairs. The simplicity and thoughtfulness of the design, the understanding of engineering dynamics, and utility! I've been working on some outdoor furniture recently and observed it over a summer and noticed how much the ground conditions affect the frames. I suspect they would be enough flexibility and rotation in components for the Klimt Safari chair to settle onto uneven  ground, gently racking and accommodating the ground condition. Then resetting and settling under load when moved. A certain form of furniture agility responsive to site and sitter."
