"This is a beautiful litter box. I've designed a fair share of litter boxes and they are very hard to design due to shipping and cost constraints (for retail). Thought I'd add an interesting insight. A majority of the litter boxes in Petsmart are manufactured domestically by Petmate in Texas which saves a ton of shipping cost (and carbon footprint). Petmate has a resin plant as well so most of those litter boxes are made from a mix of post-industrial and virgin resin. So that aisle in Petsmart is actually mostly recycled plastic, it's just not marketed that way."
"Nice! I haven't seen that, thanks for posting. As for rendering unto Caesar, here was the original inspiration..http://www.alcoteachersfcu.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Fotolia_66886164_Subscription_XL1.jpg"
"I'm curious how many people know where their red fire extinguisher is. Off the top of my head, I'm not sure if mine is under the sink or tucked away behind the fridge. If I had one of these, I could see a scenario of showing it off like a decor item. In that case I would always know where it was, just like a vase or a clock."
"Good points in here Paul. As one of the "influencers" (ugh that word), I feel like I should chime in. Like you said, a lot of designers use instagram as a way to experiment and play around with ideas that we can't do in our day jobs. Discouraging this unfettered creativity based on the idea that someone has a responsibility to their followers would be disappointing and not beneficial for anyone. I really appreciate you proposing that the responsibility and critical thinking be shared with the followers as well. If anyone is interested to hear a bit more about this topic, we recorded a podcast episode about this idea of instagram deception."
"Just something else to note. If you check out the link, the fourth image is not mine. The vender created an actual copy. If you look closely it lacks a simple divot on one side, which mine has. "
