  • "As a fellow industrial designer (currently studying) I like the idea of making your own organizers by 3d printing. This allows you to make organizers that can snugly fit your tools and equipment (regardless of size or shape) into your drawers, whether bought, or custom made you can make the most out of the space rather than buying a regular injection molded one that may leave some useless gaps in drawers for things to fall and get lost. 3D printing may also be more environment friendly depending on what material you are printing (as PLA is made from fermented sugar) you will also be able to choose whatever color you desire and even color code certain tools in some way. My only problem with this is that it may take very long to print all the parts, may using another process like loser cutting may help speed up the process."
