"....if you have the materials lying around to do something like this, then it's most likely that you own at least an adjustable wrench or vice grips c'mon...."
"Well from a materials science point of view, this frame/design will be extremely susceptible to torsional forces, either cause by hard turning/leaning or cranking on the pedals. I think as long as a commuter doesn't go mountain biking with this or mash on the pedals too hard it should hold up fine. Torsional stability is huge for mountain bikes and high performance road bikes (companies like Pinarello have even designed asymetrical frames to counter this), but commuting does not see the same demands in mechanical performance. I could see the connection point between the rear triangle and the front triangle being an issue/failure point."
"I would buy this in a heartbeat! Really conveys the classic design language of Leatherman as a trusty, premium, and useful tool in a sleek and sexy package."
"Are traditional helmets really that bulky or difficult to carry around? I guess I'm a traditionalist but I would never trade in the safety of a solid body helmet for a collapsible or foldable one. If a foldable helmet can be proved comparable or safer, and is cheaper than a solid body counterpart, then I would definitely consider getting one."
