"I bought my wire coil variant from Best Made Co a few years ago.  They currently sell both versions, though the wire coil variant is now slightly different than the one I bought.  They added a mini shackle between the hook & keyring.  I get the sense that these all come from the same source and are simply "branded" . . doesn't really matter to me, I'm happy with mine."
