Wavegarden is already on their way to opening the first commercial artificial wave facility aimed at surfers. I am not sure how far along they are with the project but the project is slated for completion by this summer in the UK. They have also built a solid, full scale proof of concept in the Basque country of Spain as seen in the attached video."
