"I always come across articles that will suit my interest and my lifestyle. When reading the above article about the "Smart Rope" that counts steps, calories, and duration of the session, I am on board with this company getting this product out there. I am a 5th year college student and I love fitness. Not only does it make me feel better and healthy, it also helps as a stress reliever. I am all for advances in fitness technology and for people who may have busy schedules or lives may not have time to go home for 30 minutes or head to the gym for a quick workout. In my opinion, this is where the "Smart Rope" will come in handy. Being able to see the number of jumps you made, without losing count, right in front of you, is an amazing idea. I love using my IPhone to keep track of my fitness, but the article did state something that is true, my smart phone cannot differentiate if I was walking to my room or if I was running on the treadmill, it just counts my activity all together. According to the article, the "Smart Rope" is supposed to register each complete jump, which means no cheating on your work out.Reading the comment below by Sean Horita, I agree that their down fall is the chrome handles. The only thing I can think of is to put hand grips of some sort to the product, because if you end up sweating, holding onto those chrome handles could become uncomfortable and could slip out of your hands. All in all, I think they are going in the right direction in creating advance fitness technologies. This is a product I would buy."
"For starters, I think the "Raincheck" is and excellent design product, knowing what the weather will be like every time you walk out the door is creative. This product would be so useful to everyone, especially for me or anyone else that lives in Michigan where the state experiences four seasons. As a college student, I walk to and on campus all day for four days a week. The walking is not an issue, I enjoy my peaceful walks to class, but sometimes if I am running late and I have no time to look outside my window, or my phone, and cannot find my umbrella anywhere, the "Raincheck" sounds like something not only I would appreciate with weather notice, but for most college students who walk to class would also enjoy. Knowing where my umbrella is at all times and knowing what my walk will consist of (weather wise) for class would be a faster, simple way for myself or others to be prepared for.The only downfall right now is that it works off of WiFi connection and not everyone has WiFi where they live. In, closing, for someone who is not wanting to look at their phone all the time just to stay in tune with reality, Jonas designed a simple yet advanced product for everyone's weather needs. "
