"A tip i learned way back when is that if you put gasoline on one side (just enough) it will dissolve the adhesive between the foam and the paper on that side.  You can then peel the paper off and it will allow you to created amazing curved surfaces without any relief cuts.  (A old pump oil can works great for dispensing the gasoline)"
