"There are many products that wouldn't exist if this rule were implemented. How about a warning label? I always thought product graphics could use more warning labels.. "THIS PRODUCT IS KNOWN TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO BE IRREPARABLE""
"While I acknowledge these tests are complete BS, I think you may be the one out of touch here. "Are you a fortune cookie or a birthday cake?" This test isn't even trying to be serious. It's a marketing campaign, and people love taking these buzzfeed style tests."
"This article seems so short-sighted and altruistic. It didn't even answer the question in the title, why are makerspaces dying? What about this business side? Cost of tools, rent, utilities, maintenance, employees, expendables? How can a makerspace even exist? With such a high start up cost and low returns, they really don't make any sense."
"Those bend radii are WAY too tight as well. Rule of thumb: interior radius = material thickness. Designing this in CAD would give you far more accurate results, with the ability to see flat pattern on demand, and then you could 3D print it to see it in person. That method doesn't make for a very interesting video, though"
"What a strange and interesting series of events! Iterative design at its' finest. If she was actually clairvoyant don't you think Mary would have seen how successful this has been? heh"
"As far as nice watches go, 765$ is super cheap. Giant nasa logo on the strap is a little distracting, but fabric straps are very common for military/space watches. Omega's Dark Side of the Moon watch has a fabric strap and that watch is 12k$.I like this watch, but I'm also not the type to wear an expensive watch for the sole reason of it looking expensive. "
"oh man the "genius" garage... "You've got a flat tire but there might be water damage so we have to replace your engine just in case. you might was well buy a new icar. also we don't sell replacement parts to 3d party garages.""
