"Very similar to the wooden reed splitters displayed at the MAISON DE L'OUTIL ET DE LA PENSÉE OUVRIÈRE in Troyes France (MOPO3). My favorite translation is "Museum of craft tools and workmanship contemplation" Very much worth a visit for anyone interested in Tools and processes."
"We have been using Ikea Bags for the last few years. We still use baskets as well but our house is very vertical with the laundry in the basement so the bags are replacing them. right now I'm thinking shoulder straps like a back pack would be nice however, If we stay in the house as we age, a laundry chute, possibly one of the pneumatic ones with an option to revers it and send it back up stairs will become more of a need, especially with cats who love to walk with us on the stairs."
"I'm sorry this has happened to you. What about a more analog approach? As attractive as the scanning and digital fabrication is, a cast of your face could be made and the eye patch sculpted onto it along with the interfacing glasses. Essentially employing the techniques used for special effects makeup appliances and prosthesis. Then a mold is made of the sculpted part and cast in silicone for comfort and to achieve a seal. It could even still be partially digitally fabricated for the interface with your glasses or could be made to completely avoid the glasses and worn like a traditional eye patch. But all that is just design preference and development."
"It does seem like it could be alarming in many parts of the world today. But I have to admit I wanted the "Ready Ranger" version so bad when I was a kid https://www.onesourceauctions.com/auction-lot/rare-vintage-1974-aurora-ready-ranger-tele-photo_2844B018A8"
