His GoPro attachment perforated the helmet (and his skull) upon impact, by concentrating the blunt force in one spot.I cycle about 150km a week and I always wear a helmet when cycling with the group and on longer rides, but sometimes skip it when going down the street. My kids do wear them everywhere."
