"Lovely innovative & useful work.I hope the images are of a prototype. If not, there is going to be a wear problem with the cords that connect the springs to the top of the upright. The small diameter of the staples that the cords pass around, plus the abrasion as these move against the staples will stress & prematurely wear the cord.Suggest that the designer looks at deadeyes or small blocks such as are used on racing dinghies to replace the staples."
"….Campos’ design is the three legged base, the single leaf & the decision to contrast the leaf with a different colour/finish to the rest of the table’s parts. It’s a lovely piece of work; with an informal appeal & useful that deserves to succeed. My aunt wants to know where she can buy one for her apartment in Ottawa. Which Habitat is selling it in North America please? It’s not listed by Habitat UK."
"I think the relatively small diameter of the handles combined with the extra weight of the all-steel construction over chisels with polymer or timber handles, will make using these chisels for a period of time an uncomfortable, even painful, & wearisome experience. And a chisel should never be used as a prybar. That is why we have prybars!"
