"Yeah, this is pretty unbelievable. I assumed before seeing it they would have to soak the entire body & neck in resin or fiberglas, but apparently not. Somehow there's enough strength in the inherent structure of the cardboard. As a guitarist for over 30 years Im amazed at the sound, as well. There was a moment where you could hear it going out of tune, but maybe that was stress from int being played. That it can play at all is monumental. Brilliant work. "

"Seriously he didnt do anything dangerous that most of us haven't done in a pinch. Its not like he was putting his hands in a brake press or torch or using an open face rip saw (Ive actually had to throw a circa saw in a vice once w/ the full blade facing out). Anyway, beautiful project. Im amazed though that he didnt use a vice! It would've made it all go smoother and faster as it would have a built in anvil that would stay put. Kudos. "

"Back in 2002 and 1998 we had what were called 500 year floods in southTexas. In my area we had standing and moving water like we'd never seenand as high as 16' as 3 thunderstorms as high as 50'000' stalled over the city for 10 days. It was unprecedented here. But fireants were witnessedrolling in balls across the water to save their colony. They were also knownto have killed one of the 23 people who died in the second flood. "
