  • "I've shot this camera for a few days now and have put about 10 packs of color and black and white film though it. The HUGE issue I have with this camera is there is know way to really know whether or not an image will be in sharp focus unless you click the shutter button and spend $2.50 (the cost per image of this camera). I've used the app, manual mode, and relied on the camera. The fact is, unless you break out a measuring tape (which is what I did yesterday) and measure the distance to subject then use the manual mode to tell the camera how far you are away from you subject, there's not other way to really know the image will be in focus. I know live view through the app would be very expensive but something like the focus system on a range finder or the Polaroid 600SE would allow you to have real, artistic control with this camera. Otherwise, you're just clicking the shutter and living in hope. I love the camera b/c it make me slow down and make photos (rather than take them). But, if you're purchasing this camera, there's no way to see whether an image will be in focus before you bet $2.50 of your money on it. "
