"If this technology is supposed to assist a human driver then it should be activated differently. Despite the legal warnings the way the system is designed it gives the user a signal that it is there to replace the human driver. The system should activate in those short moments when the driver can't hold the steering wheel, take control of the car and alert the driver to return to the steering wheel. Now that would be assisting. There are many road fatalities caused by people trying to feed their babies etc. during driving."
"People seem to forget that is only a concept car for the future. It doesn't account for any speed bumps, because who knows if there are speed bumps in the future. Also it doesn't have any seatbelts either. The vehicle is designed for UK, therefore he door is on the left side."
"A big advantage of the American style is that you don't need any space (clearing) in front of the window to open it. European windows tend to be wide and opening them creates a barrier in the room sometimes."
"I second this. The place where I come from is very windy and to get anyway by walking (esp. in winter) you have to keep looking down and preferably have something obscuring the air (e.g. brim of a hat or your hand). In general I'd say it's more natural to look down when you're walking. Also by placing the lights down you avoid a lot of sun glare; pedestrian lights are very often not as brigth as the motor vehicle ones."
