"If the mailbox is within wifi range just put in a Blink camera in the back. You can then look inside to see if you have mail. I like the drone idea though. Way cool to have your mail fly to you and then back to dock on the post and charge."
"They appear to be screwed together with plugs hiding the screws. Bonding HDPE with plywood is tough. 3M makes an adhesive but not much works and it is more expensive than screws. I like that their design utilizes most of the sheet of HDPE with little waste. I don't think I'd break them down much but it sure would help when moving. "
"My concern would be the heavy load right behind a light weight seat. I would hate to stop short and get crushed. Hopefully they have some sort of partition that can swing up for protection. I love this truck. "
"For one we usually have waste aluminum that is small and hard to use. We used to make brass knuckle bottle openers out of 1/2" thick aluminum for fun and nest them into what would just get recycled. When you buy plate aluminum in 4x8 or larger sheets you try the best you can to use it all. If it is scrap then the cost is only what the recycler would give you which is 50 cents a pound. Much nicer than a plastic soap dish that can't get recycled."
"Hilti makes amazing products. They are light weight, durable, properly supported by the company. They offer great dust collection as well. They are not cheap though. But I was just at a store yesterday and they are offering for 1000 that you can pick 5 of their tools. Just their cordless hammerdrill and vacuum is 800 by itself. I can't find the deal on line but just saw the flier at the store close to my work. If interested call them and ask. I am buying a set for work. "
"Couldn't the back of the truck be faceted so that it is flat in the middle and angle back on either end? That way you could position the ramp in either of the 3 positions? "
"While not my actual car (too lazy to go outside) it is a 2017 Passat. There are actually 3 clocks. One is the large analog in the center dash. The other two are center console above steering wheel at top of center screen and the last is center top to the radio display. No shortage of knowing what time it is. "
