"It's well known that trucks allow for more profit, but I'd like to understand more on why. You'd think the producers would have figured out how to create more profit on cars that use less materials and have as much room for added features and technology as do trucks. I suspect it's just a matter of time, however, before truck's extra profit is reduced by more competitors getting in the game. I just hope the American car industry is ready for the next big leap in oil prices - but they probably won't be."
"Juan - the large tires certainly seems like a typical prototype that would not work in the real world unless you had a rock-hard 1.5 inch suspension travel."
"Richard, you sound exactly like those who were against seat belts and airbags and your arguments have no merit except that is does indeed provide profit to those who make safety equipment. In return, consumers get something to help reduce the risk of injury. No, I don't think bike helmets should become mandatory since the overall rate of injury is very low, but to say they don't help with individual protection is just plain wrong."
"I'm also greatly impressed by the Rocker No. 1. It's truly a great design, but I feel compelled to point out that is misses perfection by not having those screw heads countersunk - and they're not just anywhere, but on the seating surface. Ugg, so close."
"I like the overall design -- but, that grill or lack thereof. It eerily makes me think of Gort from 'The Day the Earth Stood Still'. A nice low profile or heads-up dash would be nicer as well."
