"I keep seeing things called "truck" that don't have much in the way of bed. What is the minimum size of bed for a thing to still be called a "truck"? I agree with others that a 2 seater with a bigger bed would be better. Lose the pillars in the windshield!! They obstruct the view and are dangerous."
"These look great. I use homemade ones in my shop for measuring length of scrolls. It's an old idea called a traveler. They can be accurate within reason. The correct tool for certain jobs."
"I built my own timber framed home so I've done a lot of pounding on framing chisels. I would be afraid these would damage my wooden mallets. Also, I like a big handle to grab hold of."
"Ha ha. If you got the money, honey .... way over the top, but then again there are so very many things produced that we don't really need, even if they are magnetic."
"I have driven trucks of one sort or another for 51 years now. My dad's 67 Dodge was very basic and cost $2200 new. It was beautiful.. My 2001 Silverado 2500 cost $25000. It does everything I need. I would never pay $80000 for a pickup, and I worry about the reliability of all the gadgetry being added. Guess my old man is showing."
"Great stuff, Christopher. It comes at a good time for me cause I'm trying to take my work in a slightly different direction and the idea of going back and starting over is a little like trying to remind myself that everything I see is new and strange. "
"My first thought was, you've got to be kidding. But I think I'll wait and see if it becomes a real consumer item and see what statistics show in the real world. One thing I learned from designing is that real customers will do things you never would or could expect."
"I love trucks. I've driven one since I started driving a long time ago. I like cool trucks. But my response to the cybertruck is first ??????? and then ha ha ha ha ha then "that's not a truck"."
"Amazing. I've been an aesthetic anarchist all along and didn't realize there was such a thing. Thank you Chris for pointing me toward some further reading material."
