  • "    I have used a menstrual cup for about 5 years now and I absolutely love it. I chose to use the non disposable kind for obvious reasons. In my case, I can give it a quick wash, tuck it away in a cute little bag and not have to worry about it suffocating a dolphin later on down the road.    Although I am all for the cup and against tampons and pads. This product is not sustainable or environmentally friendly.  What throws me off about this product is that its made of "medical grade polymer". This is exactly what is filling our oceans right now suffocating the many different life forms from Birds to Whales that depend on clean water to live. I would definitely invest in the research to develop the product further with biodegradable polymers such as those based on Lactic Acid or Glycolic Acid. "
