Can still smell those inserts. Mmmmmm-MMMMM. That TDK SA, loved it. Bought so many from Alwilk Records in my local mall. Maxell XL II, also. "

  • "I stopped using my roborock on the first floor because it was more work to go around and pick up all the cat toys and other stuff that could get stuck in the vacuum, compared to just getting a regular vacuum out and doing it myself. This makes me think there's a market for a picker-upper that goes around first and then the vacuum starts up once it's clear. That could be more useful than a vacuum if you're picking up after kids all day, every day. Oh yeah, also I'm terrified of the vacuum spreading an errant cat turd all around a floor or carpet. I know, they have ones that detect them, but I don't have that one (more $$)."

  • "I like the design of the pot and the use of the powder. Why not just dig a hole and put this in the hole, then take it out when you're done? The target area on the inflatable is quite small. Think about how big toilet openings are compared to the pot opening. Seems too small to be of any use. And the overall volume of the product is too large to be practical for storing in a backpack with other stuff. Especially after you've gotten feces on it (and then presumably wiped it on the ground to clean it, which is what the product is intending to prevent in the first place). I like the effort though - interesting to learn about how jacked up our turds are."

  • "Love this design and the notch in the case. As an origami enthusiast, I'm really curious what the manufacturing process looks like. I'm guessing a machine takes a sheet and creates each long fold one-by-one, like an accordion. Then you would need a comb-like jig (same number of teeth as valley folds) to make the final folds in a partially manual process? Press the comb against the sheet where you need to fold the legs up and down. They probably aren't selling enough to justify a fully automated process. But I'm interested to hear other people's thoughts. "
