"Same. I've got a Keysmart, which is similar to the bladekey, but has keys on both ends. They have a short version and a long one, and the long one is necessary for my keys to sit closer in towards the center. I've started carrying my car key fob thing separately. Something like this that somehow incorporated the various shaped huge car keys would be amazing."
"I use a midi dial controller all the time for the develop mode of Lightroom specifically (with the Knobroom plugin on macOS). It's much easier to always have specific dials set for this compared to the tiny fiddly sliders in the program. I also have found myself using the iOS app for this part of things because it also allows for more control."
"I'm wondering why self driving cars so far don't seem to use sensors that are better than human eyes. Infrared could sense animals in the dark, and lidar or radar should have helped see this semi trailer. If you look back at the darpa self driving car challenge, almost all of the cars had a host of sensors that they combined together into a whole picture of what was around the car. Maybe that turned out to be too hard? Also, not slowing down when you can't see well as either a human or a self driving car doesn't sound too smart. Maybe Tesla can start sensing lighting situations they can't handle, turn over control to the human AND warn them that visibility is low and potentially dangerous?"
"Prismacolor definitely made a two ended marker that a lot of design/architecture people had back in the late 90s. I still have some with small points on one side and then a sloped larger pen surface on the other end that goes down to a point. You can almost use the large end for calligraphy."
"I've been strongly considering building something similar. I'd use it to practice sax and record audio. I have too much street noise, and I feel most like practicing later in the evening. I don't like small spaces, but it would also help with avoiding distractions. "
"I consider this to have been designed. Cars have been designed exactly this way over the years. You can just 3D scan the thing if you need to reproduce it. I'd go so far as to say that drawing skills have nothing to do with product or auto design, as long as you can get to the desired end result needed for the job."
