  • "The article is so right. We ran a design engineering course in Belgium where we promoted the hands-on approach. Now the course has been taken over by the university. They said we were wrong and design teaching is now a much more theoretical course wit emphasis on 3d printing.Luckily for them most practical teachers dismissed and became industrial designers again. The design theories are made for academic purposes and jobs more than for ameliorating design skills."
