"I'm not a fan of recumbent bikes, too likely to end up under a car due to poor visibility. Aerodynamics won't fix that. Tricycles aren't my thing either, having two wheels is literally the essence of the bicycle."
"The steering works just like any other bike, but the headset bearings are packaged inside the frame on an axis just behind the handlebars. It took a lot of figuring out because the rear brake line goes internally through this hinge too, but in the end it's simple and works very nicely. Actually I copied the rake and trail geometry directly from a typical dutch commuter bicycle, so I could be confident of good handling. I didn't see a need to change that."
"Hi Luke, your comment made my day! It's a funny world where seeing is no longer believing, isn't it? Certainly a growing issue for us all to contend with. However, I can assure you these photos are not renders (the bike or my wife). I admire the skills of people that can do such things, but personally I only get satisfaction from making the real thing. I painted the wheels a color called Tesla Sonic Carbon, after spending too many hours priming and sanding them. Maybe I should look into rendering next time! Best Regards, Bruce"
