"Very cool (or should I say cold :-) )We are looking forward to see how the Boaz ONE will survive and preform in below-zero centigrade (32F). Of course high temperature we already know it doesn't have any problem with - we are in Israel, 40 centigrade (104F) is not really rare here, and inside a standing car you can easily get to 70-80 centigrade (155-175F).Thank you so much for backing us, Ehud"
"Hi Nathan,Thank you so much for this important emphasis on the modularity of the guitar. We believe the same. However, I am not really sure if well enough conveyed to you the long term product strategy, and this may be the reason why you believe it will be less modular in the long-run. The basic strategic idea is to create a platform that will allow different vendors to create and sell under license (to retain product complementary and of reasonable quality) different parts of the Boaz ONE, like pickup cassettes, bodies, bridges, tuning machines and other accessories. It may even be that we will create so called "blank" products, like a blank pickup cassette, that will allow the player t install any reasonable kind of pickup. In the future, we are going to concentrate on making the best necks (what we call "core guitar"), which is the most complicated and problematic part. We have plenty of future work there, starting from left-hand core, different kinds of fret-boards, etc... We will of course continue to produce several different items of each kind for the foreseeable future, but I believe in say 5 years you would be able to find in the market say 100 different Boaz ONE bodies with different colors, shapes, and features."
"Thanks Errik for your insightful comment. We at the Boaz ONE team actually believe we just took the first step in a direction that was not deeply enough explored yet. We do NOT believe this is the ultimate guitar. We do believe it is a great professional and durable guitar creating an outstanding sound. That's why we announced it, sold about a thousand guitars on Kickstarter, and are going to produce it. But we surely do NOT believe it is the ultimate product that will be sold the same for lifetime, like some of Dieter Rams's products. We believe such product is needed in the market and we started a journey to create it. Having such profound thinking about guitars and design, you are more than welcome to join about 250 guitarists, designers, and engineers from all over the world at our "Boaz ONE Technical Group" on Facebook, who are working together to perfect this guitar. I am sure you will find it interesting and we will surely be enriched by your comments. Thanks, Ehud, Boaz ONE team"
