"This was based on several focus groups involving electricians from all range of experience, as well as personal experience as an HVAC installer. The newest electrician (had been in the profession for less than a year) was enthusiastic about such an innovation, the older and more experienced guys were admittedly less than enthused."
"There is a rail on the side of the bender that withstands force of the bend (not too clearly shown in the images). The swing-arm wouldn't take any of the force, if that's what you're thinking would fail.As for flattening the pipe, this is the way existing benders work.. so there shouldn't be any issue there."
