"When you wind a hose around something like this, it will get one twist in it every time around, every time you use it, quickly resulting in kinks. Either you have to use the "over/under" technique, which would not work with this design, or you need a reel. "
"Thirdly, the idea that frames are typically out of alignment is false. Any good bike manufacturer makes frames that are aligned to exacting standards. "
"First of all, there have been other bikes that are assembled this way. Even in the late 1800's there were Aluminum bikes made from cast parts that were bolted together in various clever ways. (thnum in those days). Secondly, I'd find this concept more credible if there were clear pictures of the actual bikes--not 3D models or photoshopped images. "
"The garbage can hauler has issues. It has to be removed for every use since it would get in the way of the mechanism most garbage trucks use to connect to the can. It also seems like it would flop around--there is nothing holding it in position. the heavy steel seems like overkill as well. It also tows at a very low angle so the lids must be secured. A better design would be one you can leave on the can and allow you to tow at a higher angle. Even better would be a design that doesn't require a trailer hitch. "
