"I am afraid there is no problem to solve here in the first place. Instead you have created new ones. Here are some of the caveats:1. Designed for dry ingredients only2. Slit looks notorious for pinches, cuts and plain squashing of fingers3. Hinge is jutting out which means it will not to stand/lie flat unless you fold it - waste of space4. No trench to hold back liquids 5. Slit will leak liquids everywhere"
"A pointless project in my opinion. Whats the goal of this project? The advantage of 3D printing in metal is to manufacture designs that are complex and organic for a purpose. The purpose for an optimized design to achieve weight gains and significant strength. There is no point over designing and engineering something just to follow the fad. More over, welding is an archaic process and a waste of material. It creates discontinuity and complicates the surface more than it needs to be. I ll be honest, it doesn't even appeal to the eye.Read this to know more about an application of 3D printing in bicycle industry that has achieved a realistic goal. http://www.renishaw.com/en/first-metal-3d-printed-bicycle-frame--31906"
"forget the weight. Beats headphones will slowly turn you deaf because they emphasize so much on the low frequency waves which no human can hear. A cheap and ridiculously overpriced piece of plastic. "
"I must admit the solution is clever from a design stand point but as Juan says, its a self inflicted problem that has already been solved. Unfortunately Kick Starter projects are all self inflicted problems that weren't problems until today."
