  • "Hi Jason, I'd love to share more about the design and manufacturing process of the g.stand laptop! You're incredibly insightful—yes, after the accordion folding, we partially bend specific sections to form the legs. All of this is done by people with developmental disabilities. Before founding grape lab, sustainable design studio, I volunteered at a disability welfare center and was heartbroken to learn that, after turning 20, many people with disabilities had no opportunities for further education or employment.  As a designer, I wanted to create a solution that could provide meaningful jobs. That's how this product came to be—it's designed to be crafted by people with disabilities.  Now, at our design studio in Seoul, they take pride in folding these stands and even creating artwork on them. Through this, they earn salaries and profit shares, gaining both financial independence and a sense of accomplishment.  As for manufacturing, there's no need to worry! We already collaborate with major global companies like Dell, Renova, Kakao, and national museums, ensuring efficient mass production. Every purchase of our products contributes to creating more job opportunities for people with disabilities, helping to build a more inclusive society.  Thanks to our customers and corporate partners, we can continue expanding our team and supporting even more individuals who have been isolated from traditional employment. Thank you for your curiosity and thoughtful insights!  @grape.labb Grape Lab"
