  • "Agreed, crowdfunding is risky, you never know if a company has the means to follow through with their goals. but the general tech behind this solid and super exciting. I saw a review of this product that certainly shows it's promise if they can deliver the same quality in production.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_S1d0AYW1s&ab_channel=JoshuaDeLisle"

Is there a reason house wrap nails benefit from this feature more than other nails?"

  • "The unfortunate truth is that it costs more to rebuild a frame from old and free frames with American labor than it does to make them from new parts in a factory setting overseas. If you are is the market for this type of bike, however, the cost is actually comparable or lower than similar offerings. Even on a new ebike that costs $3000 USD, the frame itself is about $100 USD to manufacture, so free steel but more expensive labor (plus extra stripping and customizing work) adds up to something."

  • "This bike weighs more than some ebikes, it's single speed, can't mount a rear carrier or even a bottle cage by the looks of it, and is 50% recycled material. I'm pretty sure aluminum is recycled at a rate of around 75% in North America already, and that's without us trying particularly hard. It's not an improvement on bicycles, but it is an unusually elaborate method of greenwashing your plastics production business I suppose."
